Pinoys are entrepreneurs by nature, give him a small capital and he'll make a business out of that... sometimes luck and hardwork pays off but at other times it's just a means to live and put food in the table.
First photo: A mango vendor, he'll do the peeling for you and slice the mangoes, complete with bagoong or salt whichever you prefer (aren't we lucky to have mangoes all year round?. At his back is the vendor of sorbetes (dirty ice cream), very different in taste with commercial ice creams but delicious too. If you want to get rid of cough, go out and buy sorbetes. :)

@olivier - im surprised that you dont have street vendors at evry, and i thought street vendors are common everywhere =)
@elay - you should visit manila bay, even without the bars it still nice to take a walk there

This is part of what makes it unique. Like most filipinos, I wouldn't be able to resist those slices of un-ripe mango with bagoong.
sometimes vendors are annoying. LOL. But i do admire their resourcefulness.
Vendors work very hard in many countries and also provide so many different things to buy (and eat, as often is the case). Photos are very descriptive of the activity.
