its christmas time

Christmas is just around the corner and it's inevitable for me to post christmas theme photos... i know that the seasons spirit is being commercialized that is why my first christmas photo for you is the nativity scene (belen), a traditional Filipino Christmas symbol, lest we forget the reason why we are celebrating.

Photo taken last year in front of the Philipine Stock Exchange building at Makati, tomorrow i'll show you the new nativity scene decor, still at the same location.

N.B. i'm out of stocked photos and don't have the time to go out and shoot, also my brother who serves as my julalay cum bodyguard whenever i go out to take photos got a job already so it'll be a while before i have some fresh photos for you.

That's a very lovely nativity scene. Is it floating on water?

Okay, your excused for posting it early! Really, this nativity is beautiful, and I wouldn't mind having them around year round.

If your brother is not available to be your alalay or bodyguard, how about your boyfriend?

@annie - this nativity scene is sort of floating in the water, that base is a fountain area but during this season and the decors are up they just put on a flowing water.

@rambling round - thank you =)

@bertn - fishing huh! LOL! i dont have a boyfriend to tag along

Really? You need a body guard to go out and take pictures? I suppose that is how different life really is in different parts of the world. Our small city is not that bad yet but some of the larger cities are that bad or worse.

I enjoyed your narrative this morning and also your photography.

@oldmanlincoln - it really wasnt that bad, in fact i am very comfortable walking around manila streets, it's just that i feel more comfortable with my brother around... to ward off unnecessary and unwarranted attention from men.

I am just teasing you. I am too old to fish...I'll probably die of old age before I get a bite LOL.
