of life

“What if a demon were to creep after you one night, in your loneliest loneliness, and say, 'This life which you live must be lived by you once again and innumerable times more; and every pain and joy and thought and sigh must come again to you, all in the same sequence. The eternal hourglass will again and again be turned and you with it, dust of the dust!' Would you throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse that demon? Or would you answer, 'Never have I heard anything more divine'?” -- Friedrich Nietzsche

Nice photo. I thought the bench was the street or road.

This life cycle you speak about is a wonder to all of mankind. Some think they have it worked out and others speculate on its meaning. Most never think about the grain of sand and how long it took to get from being a monumental slab of granite under a mountain to a grain of sand no bigger than a grain of salt.

If you have time today.

I developed a new layout on my backyard wildlife site and wanted you to take a look at it.

I am curious to know what you think of the layout for the starlings and raccoons, etc. It took me an entire day to do the layout and get it right and now it looks best in IE Internet Explorer and worst in Firefox. ???

Anyway, when you get to the Starling page, you can send me an email from there and let me know what you think.

Thanks.
