city under attack!!!


Well not really, dont worry our city is safe. It just seem to appear that this cannon is aimed at Manila City Hall's tower from this view. This is one of the cannons that lined up the main front of the intramuros walls. For more pictures of the cannons click here.

Wow. The canons are really nice examples of canons from that time period. It is worth clicking to see all of the other canons. I suppose when the canon was mounted that the building was not there in those days. Nice work.

This is a bit of a perception puzzle. At first, I thought this was a pipeline passing through a notch in an old wall. Once I read your explanation, I understood. I have never visited Manila but I have read that it has been through many wars. Undoubtedly,cannons were once greatly needed.
