looking out
a continuation of my journey within the walls of intramuros... from the ruins of yesterdays photo, a wall still stood on the right side and i peeked in its window. from there you could see whoever is coming in or walking within the walls. which made me wonder if the soldiers who were guarding the fort ever noticed how beautiful their watch tower is or were they too busy looking out for the approaching enemy.

belle photo, avec une belle lumiere du ciel
beautiful photograph, with a beautiful light of the sky
Mabuhai....
Cool blog..
Whenever I visit old forts, I think of how little light they had inside their dwellings. If they needed an inside space, that is. I guess in Manila the weather is nice year round and one doesn't worry about the winter too much?
The pink sky against the darkness and through the window is enchanting.
A really interesting photograph. I like it.
This photo is very nicely framed.
I've been reading photography magazines about how to frame scenes in the photo.
This is a beautiful shot - very well framed. My husband spent some of his high school years in the Philippines during the nid-1980s. One day I would like to visit.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for your kind words about my Gracie. She'll be missed.
Delightful sunset, very nice scene. I don't think the soldiers noticed how beautiful that watchtower was. Well, maybe a romantic soul did! :)
Some soulful soldier watched the sky. I'm just sure of it.
thank you all for stopping by and appreciating my efforts.
to z - we dont need to worry about winter since Philippines is a tropical country we have the sun shining all year round with occasional rains and typhoons on rainy season.
to zentmrs - you should, visit our country and have your husband introduce you to the beauty of manila.
probably too busy to notice, or too scared! The framing was the firsts thing I noticed. Good job!
I like how you framed this photo to look through the stones to the sky.
