"There is one spectacle grander than the sea, that is the sky; there is one spectacle grander than the sky, that is the interior of the soul" ~ Victor Hugo

I like your photograph and also found the Victor Hugo quote interesting. I would think it is the human mind that surpasses all things because it is the human senses that takes in the environment and decodes it so we can appreciate it. I am not so sure what the soul does without the mind.

Olá dear Pusa.
Once again I am here.....
I selected to write my message on this post because it is too much beautiful, and has this phrase of Victor Hugo, and speaks of serenity that is peace. I have seen another about the starfish story. Good. In Brazil there is a song very romantic and very popular about the "love" between the grain of sand and the star in the sky. Says the story that nobody knew how this romance finished but it was commented by everyone that many years after, so many years appeared the starfish.
Well, there is something else:

By this time when we see and feel that almost all minkand is celebrating Christmas
I leave with you my small message, hoping that it represents great meaning to you:
May the Peace of the Lord fill your soul.
May the Love of God fill your heart.
May the Light of the Lamb shine upon your path.
May Hope Eternal guide you through the world.
May Christmas remain with you each and every day. And that you continue making these beautiful photos for the joy of us.
from your friend:

Indeed that's the spirit you get from this photo. Wouldn't it be nice to just float away at sea?
