camping fun

While we were at the La Mesa Eco Park we chance upon these kids having the days of their life during their camping trip, KAB Scouts usually camp out outside schools and is supervised by adult scouts for them to enjoy, have small tasks, and accomplish a set of minimum responsibility, just like a real boy scout. KAB Scout stands for Kabataang Alay sa Bayan (Children Offered to the Nation) are for kids between 7 - 10 years old.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), or Kapatirang Scout ng Pilipinas in Filipino, is the National Scout Association for boys and young men of the Philippines. Its mission is to imbue in the youth and adults the love of God, country, and fellow men; to train young people to become responsible leaders; and to contribute to nation-building.

Ooohh...reminds me of the one and only camping experience when I was 10 years old. It was fun but traumatizing because it was the firs time I was away from my parents.
