I have a pair of Manny Pacquiao's boxing gloves, both of which he signed after training in them—*vigorously*. They emanate without end, these gloves; my underwear, socks, T-shirts and jeans all carry the Champ's glorious musk. Manny gave these gloves to the photographer, Mark Seliger, who shot the portrait that ran with my GQ story earlier this year. Seliger, who brooks no musk, champion or non-, turned them over to the mag, which sent them along to me (as if my underwear didn't already carry a Champion's Eau). I can't do anything with these gloves, ethically or athletically so, as with all my shoes and all my glasses, I just...have them. But now I'm giving them to a charity that helps impoverished children in the Philippines; they'll auction them off.

Manny Pacquiao once again proven that he's the best boxing champion that ever live :)
Though i must add that Clottey didnt really gave him a good fight but we all knew that he'll just be Manny's 'toy' in the boxing ring. Still congratulation manny, and thank you for making manila traffic free and crime free :D even for just a day

tomorrow we can watch the much awaited fight between manny pacquiao vs. ricky hatton at MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas. for those who cannot watch the the boxing match live, worry not because you can still watch pacquiao vs. hatton live via pay per view at movie cinemas for a price of course. if i remeber correctly, in the last three fights of pacquiao the theater owners allot two or more cinemas to show the fight live. and i think they are doing great in that business since they know that there are a lot of manny pacquiao fans who wants to view the fight live. as for me i just get the latest news from the web, still updated while wating for the delayed telecast in free tv hehehe. by the way this photo of pacquiao vs. hatton was taken at shangrila mall.

wheee congratulations manny pacquiao

Wheeee Yahoo! Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao for winning the Dream Match versus Oscar Dele Hoya!!!! Manny just proved to the world that he is the best pound for pound fighter. Another proud moment for us Filipinos and a great sports history created today. Photo: Sorry can't find a big fireworks photo to congratulate Manny Pacquiao now, so i settled in posting this very beautiful chandelier inside the Manila Hotel that looks like a fireworks too.
I've collated some news around the world, hailing our own Manny, for your enjoyment to read and for my record as well, this is truly one remarkable boxing history!
Pacquiao WINS!!! - MANILA, Philippines -- Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao stopped Oscar "Golden Boy" de la Hoya in 8 rounds of their "Dream Match" Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila) before a sellout crowd in Las Vegas, Nevada and the rest of the world.
Pacquiao TKO Dela Hoya - In a cross divisional "Dream Match" fought at welterweight poundage, WBC lightweight champion and pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao (47-3-2, 35 KOs) scored an impressive, one-sided eighth round TKO over legendary six division former champion Oscar De La Hoya (39-5, 30 KOs) on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The quicker Pacquiao got off to a strong start, connecting with lead straight lefts and continually beating the Golden Boy to the punch. Oscar got untracked a bit in round five landing a good flurry, but Pacquiao regained command in the sixth and battered Oscar on the ropes in the seventh. Oscar's left eye was swelling shut. It was all Pacquiao in round eight and Oscar's corner stopped the fight after the eighth.
Pacquiao pummels Dela Hoya - Manny Pacquiao dominated his bigger and more famous opponent from the opening bell Saturday night, giving Oscar De La Hoya such a beating he declined to come out of his corner after the eighth round. The fight was so lopsided and De La Hoya looked so inept that it could spell the end for boxing's richest and most marketable star.
Manny Pacquiao dominated Oscar de la Hoya - "He's just a great fighter," said De La Hoya. "I have nothing bad to say about him. He prepared like a true champion."
Pacquiao era begins - Manny Pacquiao unequivocally established himself as the finest fighter in the world Saturday. But he accomplished an even more stunning feat when he not only defeated Oscar De La Hoya but battered him into retirement with a shockingly one-sided victory in their welterweight bout before 15,001 at the MGM Grand Garden.
