Was planning to use this photo for the theme day but decided to go for a different picture which you'll see tomorrow. This is the Manila City Hall's sidewalk/pathway, i just love the lamps here, if you enlarge the photo you'll see a couple at the end of the road.

this one's a church alright
This is the dome of St. Vincent de Paul Parish located at San Marcelino St. Ermita, Manila. It is inside the Adamson University. I find this dome beautiful that whenever i passed by i've always said to myself that i'll take a picture of it. So here it is, sorry i dont know anything about this church… i just want to share this with you.
By the way, just found this post from Señor Enrique that i think is relevant to this church.

ma'am this aint a church
...this is the Manila City Hall's Clock Tower.
Was riding the LRT and i was sitting beside a family, from time to time the mother would point out buildings, and other point of interest to her daughter... when we're approaching the city hall, the mother blurted out to the kid that the tower is a church! I was shocked! and i thought every Manileño... that EVERY filipino knows the city hall... that it IS a manila landmark aside of course from Jose Rizal's monument at Luneta Park.

100th post

Woohoo!!! This is my 100th post and i would like to thank all of you for joining me in this journey and seeing the beauty of Manila through my photos. When i joined the DP community i thought it would be an easy task to post one photo a day but learned that it wasnt that easy. But still, the fulfillment of sharing my beautiful world with you is really great. Thank you!

ninoy aquino day
This statue of Ninoy can be seen at Paseo de Roxas, Makati. No, the statue is not being transported by the truck... it has been there for years now and will stay there for a long time.
Brief history: 24 years ago, Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. was assassinated at the Manila International Airport (now named the Ninoy Aquino International Airport)upon his return from his self imposed exile. He was the main opposition leader of the then President Ferdinand Marcos, and the anger of the Filipino over his death led to the 1986 Edsa People Power.
Update: i just to have to add this video.
