i think, peacocks really are a snob! look at this white peacock strutting her nice feathers and the moment i approached her, she immediately turned away!

manila zoo's elephant

revisited Manila Zoo after two years and nothing much has changed since then, except that they are renovating the reptile cages.  the entrance to the Manila Zoo is surprisingly still the same from my last trip to the Manila Zoo... still at 40 pesos for adult and 20 pesos for kids, children below 2 years old gets a free entrance to the zoo, while Manilenyos get a 50% discount as long as proper id are presented.

anyways, meet Mali, the 31 year old elephant resident and the star of Manila Zoo... and yes she is indeed the same elephant trotting at the zoo when i was still a kid!

new moon?

nope, not really the moon but the sun in all its glory... its just that for the life of me i cant get a decent shot of this great red ball of fire, the red always smudge (like in my previous post) and the sun becomes yellow whenever i get a chance to catch the sun... can you please help me

perfect

just perfect! i am not saying that this photo is perfect, there are lots more beautiful sunset out there but a perfect photo for me looks surreal and painting like if you know what i mean... and besides manny pacquiao won, as expected - putting ricky hatton on the 2nd round! - dang that was sooo good, i expected him to win but not that too early round but still it was the perfect left uppercut and most wicked punch ever :)

and so typical of me, i have forgotten that this blog turned two years old last april 27, yehey happy anniversary to my blog :)

watch pacquiao vs. hatton live

tomorrow we can watch the much awaited fight between manny pacquiao vs. ricky hatton at MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas.  for those who cannot watch the the boxing match live, worry not because you can still watch pacquiao vs. hatton live via pay per view at movie cinemas for a price of course. if i remeber correctly, in the last three fights of pacquiao the theater owners allot two or more cinemas to show the fight live. and i think they are doing great in that business since they know that there are a lot of manny pacquiao fans who wants to view the fight live. as for me i just get the latest news from the web, still updated while wating for the delayed telecast in free tv hehehe.  by the way this photo of pacquiao vs. hatton was taken at shangrila mall.
